Coral Reef Island

Today we took a boat to an island off of Pattaya called Coral Reef Island.  The water was a pretty grey blue.  We rode a banana boat and a jet ski.  I wanted to go parasailing, but the guide wouldn't let me!

Later, we went to a place where we saw a Muay Thai demonstration, some dancing, and an elephant show.  The elephants were extremely well trained and talented.  They even gently went into the audience and grabbed bananas from the people.  Afterwards, we went to another place where we actually rode on elephants..

We had dinner at our hotel.  This is a shot that was to my left as I enjoyed dinner.  It was an amazing sunset.

What I learned today about Thailand:  1)  I think some of these elephants might be smarter than me.  I also think the one I rode on applied for worker's compensation the next day.
