Seomun Market
April 10, 2007

Today I went shopping at Seomun Market for gifts and trinkets for friends back home.  Seomun (서문) means "west gate" in Korean.  It's the largest traditional market in Daegu and one of the largest and oldest in Korea.  There are thousands and thousands of indoor/outdoor shops where you can find anything Korean you want.  I hope you enjoy the pictures of a Korean snack knows as "bun dae gi" or silkworms.  Yep...bugs.  I've tried them a few times...not so good.

What I learned today about Korea:  1) Korean strawberries taste better than Korean bugs.
