Success!
April 21, 2007

Since I started working out in July of 2006, I've had a goal of reaching below 100kg (220lbs) before I left Korea.  Today when I woke up and weighed myself...success!  I was under 100kg for the first time since I was in the Navy some 15 years ago!  I'm now 99.7kg (219.3lbs).  I've still got tons to loose, but it's quite an improvement from where I started at 123.7kg (272.1lbs).  I promised my Hapkido dojang a chicken party once I hit below 100kg, so tomorrow it's chicken time!  Of course, once I eat fried chicken to celebrate, I bet I'll be over 100kg again!

Proof!
(Please ignore the hobbit feet.)

What I learned today about Korea:  1) It's time for a chicken party!
