Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve, the Hwang family and I met some friends at a local seafood buffet restaurant. We had a great time and lots of laughs. The date happen to be Christmas Eve, but we were really celebrating the end of 2006. I don't think Christmas is as huge here as it is in America. And as far as the year changing, I think Americans seem to celebrate the turning of the year while looking forward to the new one. It seems that Koreans concentrate more on saying goodbye to the old year and hoping the next one is better.
What I learned today about Korea: 1) This is my 2nd Christmas here...wow!
