Weigh in time!
February 07, 2007

Taken February 07, 2007

Today was once again weigh in time at the gym.  I've lost 3.5 kg (7.7 lbs) since my last weigh in.  Since I started working out in June 2006, I've lost a total of 17.5 kg (38.5 lbs).  It feels kind of odd.  I know that's pretty good, but I still feel like a mountain of blubbery fat.  My humongous turkey neck is really starting to bother me now too.  When I look at the pictures, it looks like I've lost a lot, but I feel like I've lost very little and still have a few tons to go.  My short term goal is to hit 100 kg either at the end of February or the beginning of March.  Wish me luck!

I decided to take a few photos of me at the gym today.  The third & fourth photo show me on the space age machine that can figure out what your twice removed uncle had for dinner last night.  It can tell you all about your weight, of course, but also body fat, the ratio of muscle to fat, the amount of minerals in your body, and god knows what else.

I'm mainly goofing off in the pictures because I was running short on time.  I had to go have lunch, teach a class, then Hapkido class, dinner, and teach another class.  Wednesday is a busy day!

What I learned today about Korea:  1)  I should've been in the Super Bowl FedEx commercial playing the turkey neck guy!
